Margaret N. "Peggy" Spencer, 87

Mrs. Margaret N. “Peggy” Spencer, 87, of Cox’s Creek, died Thursday, August 26, 2010 at her residence. She was a retired teacher.

Her husband of more than 50 years, Charles Spencer,and a brother, Henry Newell, preceded her in death. She is survived by 3 sons, Charles (Karla)Spencer, Downer (Cindy) Spencer and Robert (Kathy) Spencer, 2 daughters, Timmie Green and Audrey (Randy) Spencer, 5 grandchildren, Heather (Josh) Cook, Trisha Spencer, Bailey Spencer, Crystal Erin Spencer and Madison Spencer, a great-grandson, Ayden Cook, a nephew, Phil (Alice) Newell, 2 great-nephews, Walker Newell and Graeme Newell, and 2 step-grandsons, Mitchell Curtsinger and Scott Curtsinger. There will be private funeral services.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Louisville or the donor’s favorite charity.
