John William "Buddy" Marshall, 70

John William "Buddy" Marshall, 70, of Nazareth, died Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at his residence.

History: Mr. Marshall was born August 29, 1939 in Nelson County. He was a United States Air Force Korean War veteran and a carpenter by trade. Buddy was a lifetime member of the Kentucky Motorcycle Association and a member of the American Legion Post 121 and the Catholic faith. He was an avid reader of the Western Kansas World newspaper.

Preceded in death by: His parents: George Francis and Mary Lucille Donahue Marshall; and an infant brother.

Survived By: 2 daughters: Tammy Lynn Marshall of Tennessee and Wendy Janell Marshall Lane of Kansas; 1 step-daughter: Teressa Williams of Kansas; several grandchildren; 1 brother: Joseph Theodore Marshall of Bardstown; 2 sisters: Helen Nally and Mary Ann Hahn, both of Bardstown; and the mother of his children: Robie Harries, and her husband, Jim, both of Kansas.

Cremation was requested with no services.

A private burial will be held at Holy Trinity Cemetery at a later date.
