Margaret Byrne, 70, of Bardstown, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at her residence.

History: Mrs. Byrne was born February 18, 1940 in Denny, Scotland. She was a former employee of the Kentucky Standard and retired from Wilson and Muir Bank after 19 years of service. Mrs. Byrne was a member of St. Joseph Parish.

Preceded in death by: Her husband of 42 years: Thomas “Scotty” Byrne and her parents: Thomas and Bridgette Connolly Deans.

Survived By: 2 daughters: Jackie Masterson (Eddie) and Julie Ritchie (Steve), both of Bardstown; 3 grandchildren: T. J. Masterson, Zach Ritchie and Maddie Ritchie, all of Bardstown; and 1 sister: Honorah McCall of Scotland.
